Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I have a few hours before my shoot today and I decided to take a quick wander through the yard and see if I can relax and take a few bug shots. Well, relaxing it wasn't because of the high wind and had to set the camera at ISO640 and above to get the shots I wanted, but in the end I came home with some winners.

I did have a question... saturation do you prefer? It was in harsh daylight and the reds got a little out of control so I adjusted the saturation and can't find one I like over another.

I like the saturation of the second one best. However, for my taste #2 could use a bit more contrast and brightening to give it more pop.

Nice images Chris. I'd go with Tim on the saturation issue.

I'm going to go against the others because I like first shot (due to the shadow).

Nice shots, Chris! I think #1 works best for me. I like the "punch" of the color and the isolation of the fly and shadow on red... nice shot.

Good work Chris. I prefer #2, although actually maybe 1/2 way between the two? Great detail you captured here.

There appears to be a photo under your watermark.

I was thinking the same as lithos.

I like the sat on the first but do ya really have to put your logo over the object of interest?

I prefer the saturation of #2 as well Chris,

And I don't blame anyone for their watermarks either. After just one person uses your work without your permission you just loose some of the trust
