Wichita Mountains, Oklahoma, Part 2

Some landscape, some details. Here are some more pictures developed from my trip to the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge.

Very nice series--I've kicked around Oklahoma quite a bit (I grew up just over the state line in Western Arkansas.) Of all your shots, I think the Indian Paintbrush and the last one in this set are my favorites: I bet the last one would be a good candidate for a monochrome treatment, as well.

Good call on the monochrome. I will test that out. I have not tried that in Lightroom yet. I'm drawn so much to color, but I do appreciate a good black and white photo.

Thanks, Jer! It was such a fun trip and I plan to go down on my own and explore on my own schedule. I could have spent the entire morning at the first lake alone.
