Photos from my trip to Gardarika 25 may, it was 4 years from the day of Foundation of the Slavonic Museum-settlement "Gardarika". On photos - guests of the settlement and settlers. It is people who follow native tradition and Russian ancient belief. At the festival there were competitions, tournaments, ancient games, training forging. Craftsmen sold their own products (hand-made) on a small market.

Craftsmen sold their own products (hand-made) on a small market. At the end of the holiday sounded guitar songs near the fire (usually perform folk groups)

Great pictures from a very interesting part of the world--it seems as if the program is really emphasizing your Varangian/Rus heritage. Those "Vikings" really got around: from the Danelaw in the UK, "Norman"dy in France, (not to mention all those red haired decedent's in Sicily) they left their mark on a lot of far-flung corners of the world.
