When I got my Pentax K-5 I retired my old Canon G11 compact, but in its heyday it helped me take some of my best photos. Below are 24 of them including, in my opinion, my best-ever photograph.


This was shot down into a pool of muddy, grey-green water at a contruction site. I played with the saturation in the raw file just for fun and ended up having it printed in poster size. The original JPEG looks nothing remotely like this, and it still amazes me that it came out of a 1/1.7" CCD.
