Yum. Seafood is on the menu. It never ceases to amaze me how tame the wading birds are in the South.

In #5 the crayfish is yelling 'Help Me!' Excellent shots.

Yeah, this one wasn't easily frightened although I wasn't as close as the shots suggest, since I was generally shooting at > 250mm and most of these have been cropped significantly.

I've been stalking herons for ages and never managed a series this good.
