Sunsets across the valley
Lens: SIgma 70 macro Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Whitney, Ontario, Canada ISO: 800 Aperture: F8

I should have gone over to the beach for this sunset, but we get the colours you sometimes get on the opposite side of the sunset, and those we can see from our deck. A ridge and forest keeps us from seeing much of the sunset directly. Quite often we get very subtle effects.

Norm there are some beautiful and unusual colors there.

Very nice, Norm. The color variations are subtle, indeed, which gives the complete picture a soothing effect. I like it.

Thanks for all the comments gentlemen, Although I do feel little guilty taking pictures off my deck, pictures are supposed to get you out of the house and off the property... taking them off your deck is definitely cheating.
