the Honey Moon is Over
Lens: 18-250mm Camera: K3 Photo Location: Colorado

taken last night just as the moon started to rise, color is due to earth's pollution, cropped heavily and image taken hand held, TAV mode.

I guess that pollution really changes the color Jer, not a sharp image I think I should of used a longer lens or not cropped as much. thanks bud for taking a look.

Nice golden shot.
You might try taking a photo of the moon in the daytime. I do that sometimes and then use Gimp to convert the blue sky to black. It's hard to photograph the moon at night due to the high contrast I think.

normally I don't have much of a problem with the moon, this was a hand held in the wind and the moon color was quite vivid. I will give that a try though Michael, should be interesting to see. thanks Bob.
