Elk Island - an Evening walk Part I

It's been a while since I posted here. Still getting out when I can. Enjoying the recent excellent weather and long days Here are a few from last night.

Well at least that white stuff melted up that way buddy, great shots as usual from you and Happy Father's Day.

Elk Island really seems to be the under appreciated National Park. Thanks for sharing, we might head out there today!

Thanks Bob oh yeah we are well into our 15-16 hour days of summer temps and rain now ! A great weekend weather wise though.

Thanls calculator01 - it is an underused park with lots of trails and lakes.

How did you survive the mosquitoes? I was in the Blackfoot area this weekend and the mosquitoes were terrible. It's just south of Elk Island.

Beautiful series to view. Love the duck images... looks like you had gorgeous light. We have the same flowers and trees here. But we don't have any Buffalo. Great shot!!

haah Thanks Glen - long pants, arms covered , hat and deet still got oddles of bites.

Thanks Tess it was early evening (got to the park around 08:30 pm) other than early morning best part of the day.

Looks like a very serene evening.

Look for mosquito net hats and clothing. You'll look a little goofy at first, but everyone will soon be jealous.
