Wonderful shots Dominique, makes me want to go there.

I have a favor to ask. There is a really nice old guy named Gover who works in the gas station near where I work. He comes from Madagascar and I'm pretty sure he's never been back there. Would you mind if I printed copies of these pics to give to him.

If you say no, I will understand and you have my word of honor that I will not print them, I'll just take my macbook in and show them to him on the screen.

Regards,
Gary

Thanks Tcom for taking us on a small tour of Madagascar. Being a small town hick I doubt I will ever go to such a place...

Your series is very well done... thanks so much for sharing it...

I remember from my own travels in Madagascar those baobob trees and the ubiquitous THB signs (Three Horses Beer). Nice shots.

Awesome work!

I love the composition of #1 and how one kid is offset in #2...and the beach shot. My 3 favs, but they're all great !

Oh, and lovely lovely sky in the last one. Beautiful stuff.

Thank you for all your comments.

On this trip, I not only wanted to see the lemurs, but also tried to capture the everyday life, as far as this is possible as tourists are a welcome distraction from their everyday life.
