A few wedding pics
Posted By: dudlew, 05-04-2008, 10:27 AM

Hello, Just posting a few shots from a wedding I did recently.

All were shot RAW with my K100D and Sigma 17-70 and processed in Capture One 4.

I hope you enjoy.

Very good work, does the happy couple know that their pictures are being seen all over the world and if so, are they still happy? LOL

Thanks cupic,

Yes the 17-70 is a good lens. Since getting it, it has been on my camera except for one or two occasions to use the 50-200 for some extra range. I think for weddings and events as such, its a fine lens with a good range.

Very well done.
The K100D's very capable, but the photographer make the photos happen!
Thanks for sharing D!

Great job!

I like the ring photo very, very much, a very good idea!
A pity the groom did not smile more on the photo leaving the church.

I know what you mean Pete.

It was and is a challenge, especially at the reception. The lighting was poor and I got alotof out of focus shots. It was definitely fun yet frustrating at he same time!

Thanks Bert glad you liked them. I had to find one of the groom where he was looking a little serious. He was smiling through out the entire ceremony,..... one of those mischevious smiles.....

It is a big wedding party. They are one of the influential families on this little island. guests were present and former prime ministers of St. Lucia and S. Vincebt respectivley. They got a free stay in Sandals St. Lucia as a wedding gift!
