Lovely! The black background is so interesting. I like the first best as the stem leads the eye into the black.

Thanks! And, thanks, Tess, for picking up on that. I've received a number of "nitpicks" from people saying my flower shots look "odd" or "funny" because of that. A few years ago a found my eye following the stem right off the image. The more images I looked at (not just mine), I found that to be true. So, to keep the main thing the main thing, I use this "fade into the black" technique. I feel it works pretty well.
