Thanks. The group he was leading boarded the train in your home state on their way to visiting a congregation in Illinois. I had a chance to speak with one of the young men in the group about his vocation, following in his father's footsteps as a furniture maker. It was an interesting conversation. The group were clearly "plain folk" in dress and modest in behavior but there was no sense of wanting to isolate themselves from the rest of the passengers. It was, as I imagine you can tell, my first encounter with Mennonites.
