Nice shot of an interesting seed head. What plant is it? It looks like it could be a noxious weed so the Medusa comparison is appropriate. Must have been a slow day for you though. No unsuspecting female walked into the frame!

I think it's a nearly life expired one of these, as for a name sorry no idea, just wandering around outside the house and there it was.

I recently acquired a new (to me) "Lady", I've called her my "Femme Fatale" (SMC Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 Macro), so I'm just taking her out on a few dates.

Looks like you have fallen in love with Femme Fatale!! A lot safer than the two legged variety, especially if you're already married!!
Those pods look like something from Invasion of the Body Snatchers!!

The good news is they're pretty small at about 1/2 inch across, so I'm safe just now.
