We spent the Canada Day long weekend in Vernon BC for the Funtastic ball tournamnent. It was fun as always albeit the weather was not the best. We have been doing this for about 15 years now. Sometimes I drive sometimes I fly, this year the boy and I decided to drive. Here's a few snaps from the trip home. It's about a 10 hour drive through the Mountains very scenic for the most part , at least the first 6 hours anyway then we hit the prairies where it's 350 km of basically straight divided highway and then we take a right

#3 This must of happened just a few minutes before we got there. Even in perfect weather these windy narrow mountain roads are dangerous. Not sure if anyone was hurt here. A roll over like this can delay traffic for hours.

Thanks Bob yep accidents are never a good thing. Did I mention we had fun ? We went 1-5 in the round robin and lost our playoff game. It's all about the beer gardens and fun (thus the name Funtastic )
