I found out my DA 18-135 WR is much better for IR than my Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 since it doesn't hotspot like the Tamron does. I took this today with it.

Cool, thanks for sharing. I would not have thought of that lens for IR... but I also only have a 720 in 49mm

Did you have your camera converted, or did you use a filter?

I had it converted to full spectrum, then I use filters for IR only.
