I agree, I think #3 is very nice...the sky in the last two are stunning (compared to what I see every day!)

Thanks Paolo, Thats not a sky I see everyday either.
The sky was amazing but the ocean was extremely rough.

Great shots, well done! I like 3 as well but also have a feeling for the colour range in 2. The rough sea is a real plus to your beautifully lit sky.

Agree with Bruce, the second shot is really great with it's peaceful power and successive colours in accordance with distance.

The last two are my favorites. I think it's the warm smoothness of the sunset sky contrasting with the cool choppy water below. It makes a really nice visual impact.

Derm,

Interesting images. My father's lineage comes from that area and these images have provided further proof that I need to sojourn up that way and spend some time with the family.

Thanks for the motivation.

OKay don't shoot the messenger This is just my feelings and I think if they work for you then that is good enough. Althought I like the subject and the comp I am thinking they lack something in the PP. For me a little grainy (but I thik you are going for that) and also I think they seem a little flat. A contrast boost would work for me. Again just my $.02

Thanks Pat. I'll try a contrast boost.

I liked the first two best, they are sort of dreamy and ethereal with really nice gentle color
