I love this shot! It has a wonderful balance of tones. Perfect exposure of the city lights, and just enough light to see pleasing detail in the sky and beach. The distant glow is great, and the long exposure adds to the charm. I've been trying to take a shot like this for a long time on the CA coast but so far nothing near as good as this. Now I'm motivated to try again. Nice!

Thank You!, There was a bit of post processing involved, thanks to the K5IIs dynamic range I was able to recover a lot from the shadows and make the final image more similar to what I saw that night. let me know if I can be of any help or if you have any specific questions.
