Trentham Falls
Lens: Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4.5 macro Camera: K30

Trentham Falls, the sun was out when we arrived, but then it clouded over changing the colour of the rock quite a bit, but helped with the exposure times . I dont know what grade of HD filter I had to improvise with 2 graduated ND filters (long story)

f11 1/125s ISO100

f22+ND filter , 4sec , ISO100

f22+ND filter , 3sec , ISO100

f22+ND filter , 3sec , ISO100

I do like the longer SS photos CC, but it is nice to see a waterfall in its true form as in the first photo, love the rainbow colors at the bottom.

Very nicely done Colin.I find with my waterfalls that the picture many times doesn't show how massive the falls can be. Love that rainbow.--charliezap

thanks for the comments Charlie, I didn't realise when I first processed the shots but in the 3rd shot there is a person standing on the left side of the falls, which shows the size nicely
cheers

thank you Heinrich, appreciate your comments, the rainbow wasn't there for long as it clouded over and got pretty dull, but I was happy to get a couple of shots, cheers

thanks Dave, I was happy with some of the fast shutter speed shots for sure, this trip (just a 1 hr drive) was to practice some slow shutter speed & HDR techniques for some falls I plan to visit later in the year that involve a bit more travel & commitment
cheers
