Hit the wrong button and the thread was sent before I finished writing this. Was at the Calgary Stampede this weekend and had a blast. It has be 35 years since my last visit and what a great show. Here a just a few of the 300 or so pictures I took. Cheers JIM

Greatest show on Earth (or so they say haha). It's a great party the City even changes it's liquor laws to open earlier for the two weeks. it's amazing I am so close and yet never been , one day. Some great shot there Jim.

Thanks Dave. So many shots to go through. Won't bore you with any others. Lots of fun though. Drinking starts early and is on until 4 AM Crazy. JIM

Great shots. It's a shame they don't make the fences and gates a dark colour to highlight the action better. Still loved them.

Jim, you done good and I do agree with cupic, # 3 and 4 take it. Next time that you are in town pick up the phone (we are in the book) and I'll buy you a coffee or what ever. We are less than 1/2 hour from downtown Calgary and 10 minutes from the airport.

wonderful photos, I feel like I am there. Never been to the big one like this, but many others in the States. Guess you gotta have a white hat to fit in at Calgary. Thanks for the post Jim.
