Hi Gaelen,

These are nice photos; exposure, sharpness and contrast all good. I think though it would be better to get in a bit closer, either by cropping, getting closer to the subject or using a TC.

I'm really impressed with your red winged blackbird there Gaelen,
Especially since I've tried to photograph them several times. So I know how hard they are

Plus Lowell Goudge, another excellent photographer reminded me how tough they are recently in this post.

Bird photography in general can be tough, and you did a good job with it
