Stanford

Haven't posted in a while, I thought I'd share a photo and get some feedback. I just happen to have my camera on me while walking around on the Stanford campus. Usually there are a lot of people around, but just for split second, they were all behind the columns. Quickly dialed down the aperture, I was able to get this shot. Glad the DA* did not flare too badly and I think I'm okay with what's left in the frame. I'd probably remove the little one toward the bottom of the frame if I actually saw it while editing.

Wooo, Deja Vu !
One of my English classes was right off your left shoulder in that scene.

That is a tough photo to get, as you mentioned, the Quad is usually filled with students during the week and filled with Tourists on weekends.

Honestly, I'd rather see people .... without them, this building has no purpose, but that is just me.

I like it without people. It makes it look like someplace I might like to be.
People ruin everything.

Nice shot. I really like the leading lines, geometrical shadows, and sunlight.

My only issue is what might be a lightpost globe below and to the right of the Sun. My eye is really drawn to it - it reminds me of an adjustment marker (not sure what they are called) in Lightroom when using brushes. I absolutely had to click it (and ended up in Flickr.)
