A blast from the past!
Lens: Sigma 17-70 DC HSM Contemporary Camera: Pentax K10D Photo Location: At home, Forresters Beach ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/8s Aperture: F4

A blast from the past. I bought two of these coffee mugs many years ago. They came with 3 rolls of Ilford film - one each of FP4, HP5 and XP-1. Those were the days.

Pentax K10D plus Sigma 17-70 DC HSM Contemporary.

For my courses I used to buy 200 bulk rolls a year, and hundreds of boxes of B&W paper.

Were you teacher or student? That's a lot of supplies.

I was a teacher, and between myself and the other photography teacher we taught over 150 students a year, all of whom gave us $65 for supplies. SO we got close to $10K just from the students, and also kicked in another 2 to 6k for camera and enlarger maintenance, and purchases, depending on what size bone administration tossed us that year.

Gotta love Ilford film
These days I shoot XP2 super or FP4 Plus pretty much every week on my 67 system.
Still torn between the traditional grain structure of HP5 or the T grain of delta 400.

Yes. I learnt B&W on Ilford using Rodinal developer. It was great fun.

Thanks, eaglem. It didn't seem right to post it in colour.
