Changing Weather
Camera: K3/5 Photo Location: Falcon, Colorado

Cool weather comes out of the Rocky Mountains and flows down into the front range creating some interesting weather conditions here on the prairie. In a seven day period we had a near tornado forming, lighting , torrential rains and now fog. Like Samuel Clemens said, "if you don't like the weather wait a few minutes and it will change".

Some great captures of cloud formations.

Weather up here has been fairly normal, except for higher than average rain in June. As soon as August comes, invariably we start to notice an abrupt cooling down. Unfortunately for us...means summer is at the beginning of the end.

you've had quite a change of weather it seems the last couple of years Dave, I saw there was even a tornado touch down, makes you wonder what's next.

and I guess that means snow, something we are allergic to, so we will be in the Mojave Desert by winter.

that's what I was saying to Dave, you have had you're share of "bad" lately it seems and I hope you don't get record snow this winter, guess you never know and that is the fun of it.
