FA 100mm f/2.8 macro ... incredible sharpness
Lens: FA* 100mm f/2.8 Camera: K-5 IIs ISO: 100 Aperture: F16
Posted By: igor, 08-06-2014, 03:57 PM

I'm blown away with the sharpness of this lens...
Having shot with a lot of great macro lenses by Zeiss, Mamiya, Nikon, Canon, Sony/Minolta, Kilfitt, Sigma and Tamron, I must say, the FA 100/2.8 really stands out !

K-5 IIs body, pop-up flash with a diffuser.

thanks for looking.

Nice shots Igor, definitely one of the best macro lenses for Pentax too. However the lens itself can only help for the perfect picture, the skill of the photographer is what makes the difference. Good work!!

Thanks for sharing. These are beautiful shots. Not sure how much color processing you did, but the color richness, especially the greens, is pretty amazing too.

I love how on you title thread you put FA(star) 100mm f2.8 ( you seem to have a lot of FA* glass so I don't blame you), it sure performs like a FA* lens.

Great work - when I remember to use a flash it does make a difference. I'll have to post some recent images. Most not near your quality here, though.
