Thanks to you all !!

I hadn't posted any BIF shots for a while.
Hope to get some more soon with the migrations starting already.

Well done! Just just can't get the focus right for BIF now that I have glasses.

Surprisingly, I have never shot a BIF and I live within 25 miles of the Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area! I just bought a Sigma 28-300mm lens, so when the weather cools down a little, I'm going to venture out there and give it a try.

Thanks Rob.

I understand the predicament with glasses ... I have become accustomed to "go with the beep" as a secondary help when shooting BIF.
I wish the OFV would be three times larger and brighter !

That seems to be quite a place for wildlife with the mountains and the stream down below.
I bet you will become addicted!

Stream. Yeah. That "Stream" is the Snake River. They have an interpretive center at the headquarters, maybe that would be a good place to start. It's amazing that I've lived here for almost 17 years and I've never been there.

Sorry to have misnamed this "stream" as a "stream" !
Obviously it isn't a creek!
I did a little research for birds of prey in Idaho ... quite a place to be !

Cheers!

Well, the Mississippi or Amazon it's not! No apology necessary. I've just never heard it refered to as a "stream." To some who live near truly large, wild rivers, I suppose it could be considered as such.
