Arachnophobes beware
Lens: Sigma 105 Camera: K5IIs Photo Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta
Posted By: daacon, 08-11-2014, 10:14 AM

Yesterday my wife noticed this fella (or gal) up underneath the Eavestrough. I put on the DA* 60-250 and this was the best I could do (pic #1). I could not reach it and my wife insisted I 'eliminate the threat'. . I took a broom trying to get him to get on it and I was going to move him out the back yard but he would not get on. So I swipped at him knocking him on the deck (or so I thought) so I could pick him up.

He must of slipped between the boards as I could not find him. Oh well immediate problem solved. Today as my wife was watering the flowers she said in no uncertain terms. Take some more pictures of it and kill it !

So pictures 2 through 4 are some quality studio time we had together and then as instructed I eliminated the threat. I am sure in a few days / weeks another will be there to take their place

Nice pics
Reminds me of the cartoon where the lady says "I don't care how small that spider is, I want it dead."

hey buddy, I've seen pictures way back in the day about spiders like this and then all hell breaks loose. Kill it before it multiplies.

Didn't see this one Charlie the Sigma 1:1 makes him bigger than life - maybe 1/3 of the palm of my hand.
