Eucalyptus drop
Lens: DA*300 f4 Camera: K5iis Photo Location: Canberra, Australia ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F4

Most people stayed inside - it was raining and under ten degrees - but I'm glad I went for a walk. The smell of the wet earth and plants was wonderful, and the raindrops glistening on the tips of the leaves were beautiful.

The DA*300 isn't an ideal macro lens; certainly not hand held at 1/60s, f4 and 1600 ISO, but I managed to capture something which reflected my feelings on a cold and rainy day.

Thanks Bob! I'll have to get up early one day and try to find a spider's web - except I don't remember seeing orb weavers around here. Maybe I'll have to wait for a rainy morning in summer!
