Hi Pentaxforums

I really need a 50 mm lens f. 1.8, because I have problems shooting sharp pictures using my old Sigma lenses, which I bought with my first analoge Pentax SLR. I thought I could use them with a digital Pentax SLR, but they seam to fail a lot when we are talking sharpness, and that is a shame, when I want to take nice and SHARP photos

I hope you like my picture of my dog, though it isn't sharp enough...

The EXIF data with this photo shows that the photo was taken at 1/3 second.
That is way too slow a shutter speed to expect a sharp photo.
You need to be taking photos at more like 1`/125 or even 1/250 before you can blame your lens for lack of sharpness.
