(This did not end up so well as I know have a multitude of zoom lenses, up to a 50-500!) Yes I know this is in many cases a poor substitution for a dedicated fixed length lens. It was just easier to carry one or two lenses and make do. I often wondered why these other lenses were out there and am know beginning to fully understand why. I want to shoot with a depth of field so shallow that only the tip of someones nose is in focus, or that it looks like the background is made of tissue paper! Normally I shoot landscapes, sunsets of the Pacific from SoCal. It would be a great opportunity for me to test my recently acquired K3 and my skills. Why not?
