Take a lot of photos of minature live steam locomotives and the 50mm would be an excellent lens for this. Also shoot a lot of photos of my dogs while hiking in the mountains and the wider opening of this lens would allow for a faster shutter speed to better capture their antics.
Plus I'm retired and we all know what that means especially when you were the grass hopper and fiddled around instead of saving your money like the ant. Oh well, life is an adventure and I had a heck of a good time getting to where I am now
