A 2 year old girl took this photo
Posted By: little laker, 05-11-2008, 02:28 AM

While helping photograph a wedding yesterday this really cute 2 year girl was a little camera shy.

Until I asked her if she'd like to take a picture of the bride and groom with my camera.

Well she loved the idea, and this is the results she got with very little editing.

I was impressed with the results, and I swear that no adult helped her with it.

The camera was set to auto focus, which I'm sure helped.

I'll be posting some of my own photographs tomorrow sometime (I guess that it's really today, but I haven't made it to bed yet)
It's looking like around 90% of my 230+ photographs turned out.

Plus I'll share a touching story. One of my photographs had a couple of people in the good kind of tears.

HA! you can tell she has the eye, and look at her hand it wants to be holding a cable release on a 8x10 view camera

Kids are great, here's a few my eighteen month old nephew took. I took the weight of the camera but he decided where it was pointing and when to press the button.

Thanks Kris,
I'm thinking of buying some cheap digital cameras for some of my clients, and just giving them to their children.
They're as little as $25.00 here now, so I should be able to afford it from time to time

Your right cupic, her grandma was so surprised when she saw the image. I downloaded it onto my laptop and showed it to them both.

I hope that she doesn't pick up a 8x10 until I retire Tom, or I'll be out of work

Thanks Kim,

I'd love to see Pentax make the digital version of that mini SLR I showed you. (The Pentax Auto 110)
And sponsor children camera clinic's wherever there's the demand.

If they'd be willing to I'd be the first to offer to teach it in my area

Thanks Dave,
Now if I can only figure out how to not loose my job to these children I'm giving a quick lesson to
