I started photography about 15 years ago, first with a film camera, then in 2003 with a 2MP Nikon. Then, I went to a higher level with a bridge camera from Canon. Considering that I have reached a pretty good level in terms of experience, 3 years ago I came to the conclusion that I need to go up to a DSLR.
I started researching the DSLR market and at first I wanted to go on the idea of ​​a second hand camera. From the financial point of view I could not afford a “toy” like this. Especially in front of my wife had to explain why I want such a device when “the old one works perfectly, and has also incorporated lenses :-)"...
Pentax idea came by reading and rereading information on Dpreview.com.
Thus I realized that, although the quality is comparable to the major brands top models, K5 was proposed at a fraction of the price. However K5 only, without lens, was already over an imaginary budget fixed to not bother too much my things with my wife.
Searching the internet I found Pentax Forums - The Ultimate Resource for Everything Pentax, and then I fell in love for the second time, this time with the Pentax. The fact that the same platform can mount lenses from the 60s', says a lot about the seriousness of this brand.
Then came the Messiah - K30. Thus comparable quality with K5, I had camera and lens in the budget. Thus, after a period of tracking specialist sites, earlier this year I bought the kit K30 DAL 18-55 + 50-200. And all this without ever touch it - surprising for my personality.
I do not know if I deserve this lens, we shall see, but I certainly know that I really want them :-).
