Alert! Another Portrait Theft
Lens: 18-55 Camera: k-5 Photo Location: Batavia, NY ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1s Aperture: F11

Here is another stolen shot I took. Took this while in the back of the room and another photographer was shooting the model. Yes the shot is a 1.3 second shot. I held my breath really well this time.

Great picture; the studio setting is also wonderful. Exposures over one second are bad enough with a still life. This model must have been very still, especially for the three second shot previously.

Nice shoot ! Just strange to me in the end to use a very modern purple cover that doesn't look (to me) of the same times. But you can't complain to much as it isn't you that created the scene !

Thanks Bob, Held my breath and prayed the studio flashes would evaporate my movement. (on most shots it didn't work).

Thanks Arnold. I was just trying to fill time until my turn and I got a lot of blurry pictures but every now and then I got a gem.

Thanks Nicolas, the studio photographer's tastes there, she is very creative in her work, but absolutely amazing with model direction.

Your getting a bit good at this sneaky photography malarky, need to get you out on the streets and see what you come up with.

Thanks, being sneaky on the streets can prove difficult only because I am not a small man, I tend to stand out in a crowd. I can see great shots on the street while I am driving, but a 6' 4" man popping out of his car with a zoom lens calls way to much attention to ME. I will leave those shots to the experts.

I'm the same height, but for street work I get up close and personal with my "Good Lady" (SMC Pentax-A 20mm F2.8).

Great shot! I can't imagine trying a 1 sec+ shot handheld, especially with only studio lighting. Good Job!

I can give it a try one day, but I have to travel a bit to get some action on the streets, my street has 8 feet tall corn on it and no human traffic.
