My name is Keith Valeros. I am 17 and have been taking pictures since March of this year. I use a Pentax-K7 from my uncle (a Pentax enthusiast) where the gives me most of my resources and techniques about photography. I have a series of 5 lenses- 3 of which are part of the Pentax-DA series. What I have are the SMC Pentax-DA F/2.4 35mm AL, SMC Pentax-DA F/3.5-5.6 18-55mm, SMC Pentax-DA F/4-5.8 55-300mm ED, Sigma-DC F/4-5.6 10-20mm, and Quantaray 70-300mm F/4.0-5.6 Zoom Lens. I am using an “out-dated” camera, however, I work with what I have, and I will strive in the photography field.

Why am I a potential candidate for this lens? I am currently experimenting with all of my lenses, environments, and my own camera. My photography skills are increasing in quality and quantity per day. And with using the items and knowledge I have, I can become a better photographer.

With the photo I am submitting, I used the SMC Pentax-DA F/2.4 33mm AL lens. My ISO was 100, Shutter speed was 1/1600 of a second, and my Aperture was F/2.4. It was taken during the morning of September the first. Hopefully my submission would be a great candidate for this lens.
