Deflowered...........
Lens: 18-250mm/macro Camera: K3 Photo Location: Coloado

and spreading seeds. I took this with the 18-250mm/macro lens and for not being a true macro lens, I was pleased with the results.

I think this maybe a little too symmetrical and I find the leaf in focus a bit distracting, buuut the detail and saturation is superb! The tiny flowers inside the flower is very fractal-like.

It's just a point and shoot shot to check the camera and lens combo, still playing with different settings on the K3. thanks Bob.

Which 18-250 is this? I had the Tamron for a while, but was never really happy with the (lack of) detail...

But your image looks like some much better results...

PS - Like most members of the Composite family, each large "flower" is actually a "bouquet" of many small flowers. Same is true for dandelions, asters, etc etc...

every time I read a comment of yours I learn something and that's a good thing for this old guy. Ranger, this is the Sigma 18-250 macro version shot with the K-3, seems like a good combination so far on the photos I've taken. Thanks for the information on the composite family of flowers.
