I'm disappointed about the washed out highlights, but it still appeals to me...anyway CC is very welcome

Looks like you might have a bit of shake there. It seems to have a watercolor quality to it.

Composition, exposure all good for me, but a 1/8 @ F27 needs a good solid tripod to get the those rocks razor sharp IMHO.

It's tough to get the exposure right when shooting for silky water. The contrast is what affected the exposure here. Maybe try bracketing your exposures next time and definitely on a tripod. Just my $0.02 or 2p or whatever.

definitely lens shake, you have to use a tripod for longer exposures. also f27 is a tad narrow, that's where ND filters come in, allowing you to shoot f16sih and limit diffraction.

finally, the big triangular rock in the middle, is not interesting enough to be centered, it's just a "blob". since this pic is about moving water, the water should be the eye catching part of the image, not the rock. if you are going to zoom this tight on this particular falls, either cascade to the left to right would have made a better composition
