Crewl 1. Thank you for the opportunity to enter your competition to win the DA 50mm f1.8 lens. What can I say? Well, I want to achieve a deeper intimacy with my photography that will record more detail, more definition and really penetrate to the soul of the subject I'm trying to capture. I can't seem to find a way of achieving the result I really want with a zoom lens of any kind. I'm a novice with a DSLR and have always used a point and shoot compact camera until March of this year. I think I am more likely to experiment with the facilities of the camera if I don't have the option to take the easy route and zoom in on the subject. I want to have my camera with me wherever I go so to have this lens on the body will help me ensure it's in my bag every day. Photography is a discipline and this lens will ensure that I apply that trait as I learn. I have a lot to learn and expect to be learning every day for ever more and this lens will open up another area for attention, fun and exploration.
