Claire Trevor as the "lady of ill-repute" was more interesting to some of the audience...

Anyway, thanks for reminding all of us longer-standing members of the community of a great John Ford movie, Bob, with your nostalgic treatment of the old coach.
She did have a little bit more "appeal" than Andy Devine. Thanks for the kind review, much appreciated. Here is a link to the movie.

Nice toning.
thanks Bruce, I tried it in b/w but it didn't have the impact or feel that I was looking for. This gives more of the old west feel I think.

glad you enjoyed the view here, I was thinking you might be old enough to join our "seasoned" club with the handle old 4570, but I don't think so at this time. You're too young.

all I know is that mentally my wife says I act like a kid at times, when are you going to grow up? At this stage in my life, why bother, just enjoy.

If I hadn't been on the forum when this was first posted, I might be impressed. Bob Harris and daacon were part of my original "hanging out" crowd/

When we lived in Kansas 2003-06, we were a few miles from intersection of the Santa Fe Trail {freight} and Ellsworth Trail {cattle}. I used to say that I expected to see John Wayne ride past - and no one ever suggested his hat would be any color other than white.
