Rose (again)
Lens: Auto Sears 80-200mm F/4 Macro Camera: Pentax K-50 Photo Location: Seattle, WA Aperture: F11

No drops, no sparkles. Just a rose that caught my attention.

I know the highlight is blown out; that's the sunlight :/

I better learn using a flash unit to lower contrast. My AF-200FG doesn't allow manual setting of power output though.

In your PP try increasing your contrast and dropping back the brightness and that should help with the blown out highlights and it would also sharpen to image slightly.

Eaglem, I saw your post saying the same process before, so I reduced the exposure and pumped the contrast a little bit in the original photo. Here's another try with even more contrast and lower exposure. I also cheated by lowering the exposure at those blown out regions with adjustment brushes in Lightroom.

having fun learning photography and lightroom.
