Walking along
Lens: DA 15mm Limited Camera: K5IIs Photo Location: Vienna ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F8

I have got to get a lens with a 7 blade (or any odd number) aperture because those starbursts are just so much cooler than the ones the six blade lenses give. I like this. Good job.

It still surprises me that my $35 Quantaray/Sigma 28-90mm has nine blades. The coatings are old-school but the shots generally are so good for the price! Of course the 40 Limited is pretty good too

Yeah, my mom has a Sigma 70-300 with 9 blades. The pic I posted earlier today of the fountain at twilight would have looked so much cooler with 14 or 18 points on the stars.

Thank you! I got the DA version of the 15mm and not the new HD one because I was afraid the rounded aperture blades will mess up the starburst!

Thank you. Light was great though, and DA15 is really hard to beat for this kind of shots against the sun.
