"professional reviewers" seem to hate this lens. I love mine, and your shots are quite nice, too. That cat is sharp sharp sharp!

At first, I thought this lens is not sharp at low light. But these Images I made on yesterday rainy afternoon, which was really dark.
I think, if you use the lense on full automatic mode, you won't get fine pics, but if you adjust the Settings manually, the pics will be fine. On this shot I only adjusted the aperture from 3.5 to 5.6.
Great result.
