amazing lens, my favorite among all Pentax/Tak 67 I own

a few portraits taken wide open.

Yes -- the 105mm, along with the 165mm, are beautiful lenses. But what makes them more wonderful are the subjects, the light, and the work of the photographer. I think all those components worked particularly well together for these images -- excellent job!

thank you very much. My sample of the 165/2.8 didn't impress me as much as the 105/2.4 , but it might be just a personal opinion.
