The water was a little cold...

There's a sign off to the left that says 'No motorized vehicles on beach', so I guess this is a beach...

Excellent shots. The first one doesn't do a lot for me , but the other two are very nice, especially the last.
Cheers.

Very interesting, at first it looked like it was the middle of summer because of that brilliant blue sky and sunshine but then I noticed the ice and snow on the mountains. Now take a hike into those mountains and show us what's there!

Thanks for the comments Scott, I agree, the 1st one is kind of boring. Except for the snow mobile tracks it doesn't look frozen until you get close. Maybe I'll clone out the tracks and ice fishing holes.

Thanks Photochop, here's one from inside the mountains (3 weeks ago). Some roads are no longer passable with my Explorer 4x4...

That second shot is indeed interesting, the way the waves appear to be frozen. I also like how you captured the moon in the 3rd shot.

i agree, the first one doesnt really do anything for me either, but those last two are really good. my favorite lies with the second one, as i love how the waves are caught in action.

The second is my favorite. It holds my interest due to the frozen waves and especially where the ice 'wave' meets the rocky beach.
