Autumn in colors
Lens: Revuenon 55 f1.2 Camera: Pentax K5-II Photo Location: Lithuania ISO: 100 Aperture: F1.2
Posted By: Medex, 09-18-2014, 09:47 AM

I tried various angles, depending on the flow of light, and what distance to shoot the background would highlight the singularity of the lens to create a kind of bokeh. Since the photo was taken from a distance of about 60 cm (minimum for this lens), the DOF at f1.2 is just 0.51 cm. When shooting from the hand, without tripod, even with the camera's shake reduction system proper focusing of objects is extremely difficult.
Well, eventually I wanted the play of colors.

Excellent !

Love that special rendering from this lens.
I have the Cosina 55/1.2 ... probably the same "build" ... not sure, but it renders well wide open.

Your shots are just ... excellent!
Thanks for sharing.

An amazing series. I love the bokeh in all of them. It's very..... um..... different, but interesting. In #1, it's almost as if the bokeh itself is the main subject. I like them all a lot. Thanks for sharing them.

the colors and bokeh are amazing. But remove or change the author's logo, it destroys those pictures a lot gothic-like font doesnt work here
