The milky way
Lens: Sigma 18-35/1.8 Camera: K-5 II Photo Location: Finland ISO: 6400 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F1.8

Hello! It's been long time since my last pic here..
so decided to put this one now, taken in last night. We got an amazing auroras as well but those photos you'll see later!

Still the K-5 II rocks in astrophotography: you see, ISO 6400, not that bad! Exposure 15s.

Very nice shot. I've been wondering how the Sigma 18-35/1.8 performs for astro shots. Looks like it does pretty well. Thanks for sharing!

May I ask what the exposure time was?

Thank you!
Little PP in Lightroom, nothing else. And yes, exposure 15s, f/1.8, ISO 6400 and 18mm.

Wow. So much for tripods, image stacking &c, at least for wide shots. No AstroTrack either?

Just one exposure without AstroTrack. It's easy you know, just take a photo
