Wow indeed! I don't think I've seen a flower like that Downunder. The complementary colours in the background are perfect for the colours in that flower. Fantastic control of depth of field, Rosemary.

Your retina must be crowded with cones that receive colour vision instead of rods that senses black and white.

Beautiful shot and I can see that your prospect of life must be so colourful to produce the equivalent photographs.

Hm, I am not sure what cones and rods are but it sounds interesting. Love to hear a bit more about that? I must admit I have a love for color and light, more like a passion It really makes life a bit prettier

Thank you I love seeing colors grouped together like this. It is even more fun to figure out the shot so it turns out like I see it in my minds eye.

I love to "pint" with my camera so to speak, lol I love trying to get an impressionistic or very artys look and feel to my photos. It doesnt always work out but this one I love how it turned out. It has to dowith selecting a subject with othr colors around it to get the background just how I want it Some times ya just get smiled upon and all turns out right.

Rosemary, cones and rods are the photo-sensitive cells in the retina that receive light at a certain wavelengths. Your style of photography are usually enriched with beautiful colour, with an artistic twist to it. I really enjoy your flower shots.
