Monday's lunch-time wander
Posted By: Andrew Faires, 05-13-2008, 10:04 PM

Just one:

k10d, 10 second exposure @ f/22 with DA* 16-50 @ 29mm on a tripod & a gold'n'blue polarizer stacked with a warm-toned polarizer hand-held in front of the lens (as I still can't find my @!^!! filter holder) to add some life to the otherwise flat light that I had going for(against) me.

The price of poker is definitely on the rise, there are some very very nice shots being posted and this is one of them!

The static elements are so sharp in comparison to the water. Very dreamy and very nice image. I could definetly see this one printed large.

Your shot inspires me to go out and shoot water with the tripod. Very nice work.

Hi Andrew,

I love looking at images like this. It is about seeing a shot and composing it. They always seem so easy to do but I know personally that it takes a lot fo effort to make these tight water shots work. I like both the power an elegant softness of water. Nicely captured.
