My first moire encounter with K-5IIs + DA15 · **1 Like**

Short hike to the summit of the Cerro Castor ski center:

Damn moirè ruined my picture!

I am shocked. You should definitely ditch your camera in favor of one with an AA filter.

Awesome first image although I think you left your tripod out in the scene.

I'm not sure if there aren't some areas of snow overexposed. The second image proves you'll have to get a K-3 with the Anti-Aliasing Filter Simulator.

Steve, lightroom shows no clipping. Perhaps you need to adjust the gamma on your monitor. If using windows, it`s rather easy: Link. And you are right, i definetely have an excuse for ad a K-3 now!
