Very sharp image and well composed. I like the detail in the feathers. Was this taken in the wild or is it a tame owl at a bird sanctuary.

It makes me wish I had a DA*300 but I think the photographer behind the camera is probably what matters most!

its a wild one, this year the couple had 2 chicks.

Really nice framing, plus the bird is cool. I don't recall ever seeing one before.

I think you can get a lot more detail out of the bird's feathers, plus desaturate and blur the background some more. Really nice shot already.
