Thanks! The golden color was added by using the Duplex function in Color Efex from Nik and the color brown.

Thanks Ian! There are stretches with really deep mud but in general it is no problem walking to this island from the mainland. Providing you know the way trough the flats. That is why there are guided tours on offer. For instance over here: http://www.wadgids.nl/zomer/info2.htm#oversteken. You'll have to use Google translate ore something similar. I used high boots to get the photo's from the flats.
